Tom Cross Memorial Award for Parent Recognition

NB if they are a professional please use the Excellence Awards instead which is about professionals and organisations.

The Tom Cross Memorial Award for Parent Recognition is looking to parents of children with SEND to identify
other parents of children with SEND who really standout. They will have gone that extra mile and
deserve some recognition for their efforts or inspiration in helping yourself, your family or child.
They may have been there when you were overwhelmed, they may have provided some practical support or they may have inspired you to change.

(It may help to prepare your main text in word processor to cut and paste in)
Please provide as much detail as possible?
• What did they do that you feel needs recognition?
• Why do you feel they should be recognised?
• What benefits have you seen or who has benefitted?

It could be a neighbour, a friend, someone from the school gate, a person from a group you attend, someone from your extended family etc.

Award Winners will be selected by LPCF volunteers each year and will be reported on our website and newsletter.
