Lincolnshire Young Voices is a group of young people (aged 11–25) with lived experience of SEND. Their mission is to make sure young voices are heard when decisions are made about SEND services and support in Lincolnshire.
They are currently on the look out for more young people to join the team.
If your child is interested in getting involved then please email:
lincolnshireyoungvoices@lincolnshire.gov.uk
What do they do?
The group currently meets at St Christopher’s SEND School in Lincoln, but they're looking to rotate meetings around the county if there’s interest from outside Lincoln. They also offer digital participation options.
You can find more about the young voices on the website:
As trained children and family services professionals we provide early, tailored support for families of children under 5 with special educational needs and disabilities.
We offer a safe space to discuss concerns, ask questions and talk about the available support.
We work with local early years services to help families navigate the SEND system and connect with the right professionals at the right time. Together, we can ensure your child receives the support they need to thrive.

It is that time of the year when the Early Years team are starting to highlight children who are due to start school in September this year and plan what we can provide to support that transition.
The Early Years Specialist Teachers, Early Years Practitioners and Early Years Improvement Advisors will be delivering a series of Ready Steady Go to School sessions in April and May and throughout the summer.
All information for the April and May sessions and locations is attached in the poster alongside a poster that shares information about online sessions for parents.
